Military Experience

During his time in the Coast Guard he was the head of a budget modeling team, that managed more than a billion dollars annually or over 15% of the overall budget of the service.  He also worked as a regional Controller, who ensured the smooth operation of all financial and  procurement functions at the transaction level for the greater New England area.  His Coast Guard career taught him to understand the scope of a large organization, while focusing on how the whole is made up of individual transactions.  

Avery Harper Solutions has been a veteran owned and operated company for nearly a decade.  Our approach is to connect small business owners with  highly educated consultants, who are well trained in a wide range of  financial management software packages.  This allows us to take on multiple roles within your business at one low price.  We focus on the professional service industry, namely consultants and law firms, but our clients have included property management companies, online stores, day care centers, bowling alleys, hotels, and golf courses.

The story of Avery Harper Solutions is unmistakably tied to that of our founder and principal consultant.  Paul Rodriguez approaches each engagement with a breadth of energy and understanding that only comes from the powerful combination of education and experience.  He personally oversees each relationship and is the primary consultant for all work.  

Corporate Experience

As lead consultant for Avery Harper Solutions he specialized in providing tailored financial management solutions to small businesses.  These ranged from bookkeeping, reconciliation,management of accounts receivable and payable, payroll management, and assistance in tax preparation.  He also assists in process creation, management, and improvement.  He enjoys providing MBA level services at a fraction of the cost of typical consultant.
